I was diagnosed as diabetic in January 2008 and recommended to undertake regular exercise by my Doctor as part of a programme to reduce my blood sugar levels. I started one to one exercises with Joe in late January 2008 and have not looked back since !

Joe is a professional personal trainer who gives you interesting and challenging sessions that steadily and consistently make improvements to your fitness levels. He develops a programme from the outset and provides guidance to exercises you can do at home in between the weekly sessions in the gym. Every two or three months he varies the equipment you use in the gym so you never get bored.

I was originally on beta blocker medication but this has now been stopped and my blood glucose levels have dropped to just normal for someone with non-insulin diabetes. I feel fitter than I ever imagined I would be at 63 years old and with four small grandchildren to help look after, I am continuing my sessions with Joe. Also, apart from direct health benefits, I feel more mentally alert and substantially less stressed about my work as a tax accountant.

Training with Webby hasn’t just been about trying to get fit and lose weight, but about developing a positive mental attitude towards health and fitness. I have been training for about two months now and I have found that Webby manages to inspire and motivate you to work harder and harder each session, to really push your limits and as a result I have lost 20lbs in that time. The sessions change each time so you are never in danger of getting bored of being at the gym which I found a real problem in the past.
