We caught up with mike and got what he had to say about his diet experience………..
My name is Michael Grey and on the 2nd of June 2010 I decided that I was fed up of being overweight and wanted to do something about it. I was aware of Joe Webb and the work that he has done with people as I am involved in ice hockey at Bracknell so I thought I would give him a try and I haven’t regretted it since. We arranged a consultation that suited both of us and took it from there. During the consultation we outlined the goals I wanted to achieve and he told me what to expect from the diet, he drew up a plan for me and I was put on a Ketogenic diet. I had not heard of the diet before Joe informed me about it but I am living proof that it works, and boy does it work well! Joe took my body stats and this only pushed me to try harder as I was shocked by what I heard. The diet itself was tough, I wont lie, it’s a big difference to what your body is used to and for the first week I saw a little result as I had put my body through so much food hell for the previous 18 years that it was coming back from the dead, so to speak, but in the second week a had a massive weight loss and I felt so proud and after the second week it just got easier and easier to maintain. I worked my meals around what I had to do and kept to the schedule to the letter to achieve the maximum amount of weight loss. It was well worth the effort and I would easily repeat the process as the results are amazing to see with your own eyes. Throughout the whole of my diet if I had a problem or a question I only had to contact Joe and he would help me out and sort out whatever I was having problems with. Throughout the two months I lost a total of 30lbs and I feel so much better for it. I’m healthier and physically fitter and I wouldn’t change it for the world. Even after being off the diet for 3 weeks so far I have maintained my weight at a constant 160lb. If I had the chance to do it all again I would! It has changed my life and anyone who knew me before has noticed a difference and complimented me on my ‘new’ body. To anyone reading this thinking about changing your lifestyle and diet I will say this, it’s hard work but if your completely dedicated to it you will see the results and get to where you want to be. I would like to thank Joe for his efforts and time throughout the past two months and I wish anyone who is thinking of doing this diet the best of luck.
