Jw Training and The Bracknell Bees

Bracknell have also been boosted by forming a new partnership with local fitness, strength and conditioning experts JW Training.
JW Training founder, Joe Webb, is now working closely with Dumas to identify the individual conditioning and dietary needs of the team as well as working with players on a personal basis in the gym to build strength and fitness.
Webb commented: “I’m really pleased to be working with the Bees squad this year, I want to work with all the players on bringing up their games. I have a wealth of knowledge in strength and conditioning and I am already well underway with a few of the younger players to bring them up to speed as fast as possible.
“Ice hockey is a physical game and it takes a lot of energy, players can’t perform at their peak if they do not feed their bodies the right nutrients and supplements – it’s like trying to build a house on weak foundations.
“I want to bring the whole package for players – what they need to eat and why, when they should train and how they should rest for optimal recovery. This way, players just have to take care of business where it matters, on the ice.”
Dumas added: “I have always believed if players train well and eat well, then they are able to sustain long and healthy careers.”

Sounds like a great new venture Joe, with the correct foundations put in place the team can only improve!!
Players may have skill on the ice, however good solid off the ice training and nutrition separates the GREAT player from the good player!
